Things are getting “nasty” between Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen amid their marriage split, sources say.
Page Six exclusively revealed that Bündchen has hired the best divorce lawyer in Florida to take on Brady as the pair appear headed for the end zone.
Experts say that Bündchen hired Tom Sasser, managing partner of the law firm Sasser, Cestero & Roy.
The West Palm Beach Divorce Lawyer has handled a bevy of high-profile clients, including Tiger Woods in his divorce from Elin Nordegren.
Sasser also represented Jeff Gordon in his acrimonious 2003 divorce from wife Brooke, which escalated into a battle over the NASCAR driver’s net worth but was eventually settled.
A source said: “Things are very bad between Tom and Gisele because of the lawyers. They are ready for a fight.”
“Tom and Gisele are not fighting over the children, they both want joint custody. But it will take some time to spread his immense wealth and property around the world,” the source added.
Bundchen, 42, and Brady, 45, share two children — son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9, along with Brady’s son Jack, 15, with his ex Bridget Moynahan.
As we revealed, Brady and Bündchen have been living apart during the last two months after a epic fight and now they are looking to break up their multi-billion dollar empire.
“I don’t think there is any return now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be,” a source said.
Bundchen and Brady marriage of 13 years dissolved in confusion after the NFL star decided not to retire of his football career.
In September, we reported that the couple had an “epic” fight for his refusal to throw in the towel on his career, despite announcing his retirement in February.
“There have been problems in the marriage because of his decision to retire. Gisele has always been the one with the kids,” a source told us at the time. “They had agreed that she would retire to focus on the family, she later changed her mind.”
