Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin recently made the decision to work on their marriage and reconciled after she filed for divorce in August.
Their split came as a surprise to many, but having second thoughts (and following your heart) is common in any romance, including many Hollywood love stories.
Sherene De Palma, partner at New York-based firm Hanon of Palmaexclusively told Fox News Digital that a couple’s decision to divorce may simply be due to their “outdated” agreements with each other.
“People change their minds about getting divorced for all kinds of reasons,” De Palma said. “Some of the most common reasons I’ve seen over the last 20 years for representing high net worth individuals and public figures include preserving the couple’s image and not wanting to lose face with the public, colleagues, family and friends.”

At the time, Stallone confirmed to Fox News Digital in a statement: “I love my family. We are addressing these personal issues in a friendly and private manner.”

“Reputation is important to all of us, but for celebrities it can be part of their actions,” said New York family attorney Katherine E. Miller, founder of the Miller Law Group, said. “The decision to work to repair the marriage may well be one of the heart as well as the pocketbook.”
A source recently told People magazine that the couple still have “their differences,” but noted that “in a long-term marriage like theirs, ending it and dividing their assets would be difficult.” Another insider added that “they are both family oriented” and “that had a lot to do with their efforts to stay together.”

For sam hunts, 37, and Hannah Lee Fowler, their divorce was over almost as soon as it was filed.

“I think being here, and in the music business And being on the road has hardened my heart. My heart is definitely much harder in many ways since I left that little town. It’s amazing how that little girl melted all of that overnight a couple of weeks ago,” Hunt said, on the verge of tears.
