Britney Spears is at odds with her ex-husband Kevin Federline after he made public statements that their two teenage children hadn’t seen her in months.
Federline, 44, alleged sons Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, “they have decided they are not seeing (their mom) right now.”
“It’s been a few months since they’ve seen her,” he told the Daily Mail on Friday. “They made the decision not to go to her wedding” with Sam Asghari in June.
Spears, 40, slammed Federline on her Instagram story on Saturday calling her interview “hurtful.”

“I am saddened to hear that my ex-husband has decided to speak out about the relationship between me and my children. As we all know, parenting teenagers is never easy for anyone,” she wrote. “I am concerned that the reason is based on my Instagram. It was LONG before Instagram.”
The pop star added: “I gave them everything.”
Spears also claimed that her mother, Lynne Spears, suggested that she give Federline majority custody. She currently has minority custody rights to see Sean and Jayden.

Kevin Federline says his kids are uncomfortable with Britney Spears’ social media posts
Spears has been posting several risque topless photos on Instagram, which Federline told the Daily Mail is putting more strain on her relationship with her children.
Federline claimed to have told his children, “‘Look, maybe that’s just another way he’s trying to express himself.'”
“But that doesn’t take away from the fact that it does them. It’s hard,” he said. “I can’t imagine how it feels to be a teenager who has to go to high school.”
In a follow-up post on Instagram, Spears addressed her photos and wrote: “Other artists have done much worse when their kids were extremely young!!!!!”
She added: “Reminder that the trauma and insults that come with fame and this business not only affect me but my children as well.”
Asghari defended Spears on his Instagram story.. “To clarify, my wife has never posted a nude selfie except of her butt (which) is pretty modest these days,” she wrote. “All other posts were implied nudity (which) can be seen in any lotion or soap ad.”

Kevin Federline referred to his ex-wife’s previous 13-year conservatorship
Federline spoke about Spears’ 13-year conservatorship under her father, Jamie Spears, which ended in November, calling it “harder to watch, harder to live with, harder to watch my children go through than any other stuff”.
The singer and former dancer said in his interview on Saturday that he believes Jamie “saved” Spears’ life.
“They’ve had a lot of questions about it,” Federline shared. “I don’t know if I can answer all of them, but I just tried to explain to them that your mom needed help, you know, and people were in the game to try to make that happen, to make it better.” .”
Federline was previously at odds with Jamie. In 2019, she obtained a restraining order against Jamie after an “inappropriate physical altercation” with Sean during a visit to his home in Westlake Village, according to Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, who was with Federline when he filed the complaint. .
District Attorney Gregory Totten decided not to file criminal charges against Jamie after investigating “allegations of child abuse.”
“After reviewing the evidence, there is insufficient evidence that Mr. Spears has committed a criminal offence,” Totten concluded.

Despite the strained relationship, Federline said Jamie remains “welcome” into his grandson’s life “if that’s what the boys wanted.”
He added, “I have no hard feelings towards Jamie Spears. People make mistakes. I feel bad for him. I feel like he’s been put through a wringer.”
In their public dispute, Asghari called it “irresponsible” for Federline to make such statements and “vilified” Spears.
“His character is revealed by the approval of the cruel 13-year-old Cship and his loyalty to Jaimie also indicates his approval at the time of her conception,” the model wrote.
Asghari also defended his wife, saying her mental health issues could have been “easily dealt with (in) therapy… Anyone who approves of it is wrong to benefit from it in any way.”
“I wish him well and I look forward to a more positive outlook going forward for the benefit of all involved.”
